All About Holy Grail Kush
Holy Grail Kush is a good strong strain to try after graduating from less potent ones. The effects of this strain are reputed to be felt quickly, with one hit leading to a slight onset of energy, invokes creativity, and focuses the mind.
The Strain: Holy Grail Kush
Holy Grail Kush was entered into the Hybrid category at the 2011 High Times Cannabis Cup and came out on top. It is said to have nabbed the competition’s first-ever perfect score. It is said that Holy Grail Kush, also referred to as Holy Grail OG, is the first strain to receive a perfect score in the category. The strain inherits a thick piney and citrus aroma and taste from its father, “The OG #18”. Its maternal strain is Kosher Kush, a strain that produces a myriad of effects in both mind and body that can calm and uplift. Its average THC content is about 20%.
This strain is easy to grow and features large, dense buds that appear at 9-10 weeks.
Consumers say because of Holy Grail’s Indica background it can lead to drowsiness, so consuming this strain in the late afternoon and evening is suggested. Also, on its Sativa side, you can enjoy movies, video games, conversations with friends, and any form of entertainment. Some side effects include dry mouth or eyes, slight dizziness, or paranoia when consuming above tolerance level.
Consumers used this to aid insomnia, stress, and even nausea.
Appearance, Taste, and Aroma
It has large, dense buds shaped like spades that are both light green and brown with a slightly blue hue. Holy Grail smells like a diesel but has lime and pine undertones if you inhale deeply. The taste is even more like lime, so smoking or vaping it is smooth and not overly harsh.
Dominant terpenes found in this strain are Limonene, Beta-Caryophyllene, and Alpha-Pinene.
